A 39-year-old Man Has Sold All His Belongings in Exchange for ฿itcoins

This 39-year-old Dutchman, Didi Taihuttu, has sold all of his belongings in exchange for ฿itcoins and now lives in the campground waiting for the crypto-boom. He sold everything to buy ฿itcoin.

After his father died, he sold his company and traveled the world for nine months with his wife and three daughters. During his travels, he met people who were using digital currency. Believes that digital coins, such as ฿itcoin, and its blockchain technology are transforming the function of money and banks into society, Taihuttu has planned to maintain his lifestyle until 2020, when he hopes that ฿itcoin and blockchain will have become irreplaceable and its wealth will be tripled or quadrupled.

Didi Taihuttu believes in ฿itcoins, very much! He sold the house -- selling it partly in ฿itcoins -- and now lives with his family at a campground near Venlo in the Netherlands. Even all his other belongings are on sale: car, motorcycle, electric bike, children's toys, clothes, shoes, etc. With revenues Taihuttu buys ฿itcoins and other cryptocurrencies, betting on the fact that they will make it rich.

"People tell me, you're crazy," Taihuttu told Business Insider. "But we are a family that loves adventure and we gamble for a while, to live minimalist lives. Life is boring if you never risk."

Taihuttu thinks that digital coins like ฿itcoin and its blockchain technology are transforming the function of money and banks into society.

With blockchain, there is no need for third parties to approve a payment -- a function currently held by banks -- and a computer network records every transaction.
